Sheriff’s Office receives $275,000 COPS Grant

6/02/2020 - On June 2nd, 2020, the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office was notified that they had received a much-needed personnel grant that will add $275,000 to the department to pay the salaries and benefits for two new patrol deputies for three years.

1/29/2020 - Six individuals were arrested on Jan. 24 after Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Deputies and Investigators, along with detectives from the Sallisaw Police Department, executed a narcotics search warrant on Bawcom Road, near Muldrow.

7/12/2019 - Sheriff's deputies and investigators were able to recover over a half-million dollars worth of stolen property this week, which resulted in the arrests of two Gans men, according the Sequoyah County Sheriff Larry Lane.
